Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Marketing Director to lead the planning, implementation, and optimization of marketing initiatives across our digital marketing agency. This individual will be responsible for translating high-level growth strategy into operational marketing plans, overseeing budgets, managing campaign execution, and ensuring measurable performance outcomes for both internal initiatives and client accounts.
The Marketing Director will serve as a bridge between executive leadership, internal marketing teams, and client stakeholders, ensuring that marketing strategies are implemented effectively and aligned with business objectives.
This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, financial discipline, team leadership, and client-facing communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company growth objectives
Translate executive-level goals into actionable campaign plans and operational marketing programs
Identify opportunities for performance improvements, new channels, and scalable growth
Campaign & Performance Management
Oversee planning and execution of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns including:
Paid media
SEO
Content marketing
Email marketing
Conversion optimization
Monitor campaign performance and optimize based on data and ROI metrics
Implement marketing analytics frameworks and reporting systems
Budget & Financial Oversight
Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources across channels for optimal ROI
Forecast marketing spend and evaluate cost effectiveness of campaigns
Provide monthly reporting on performance, cost metrics, and ROI
Team Leadership
Lead and coordinate internal marketing teams and external vendors
Establish performance standards, KPIs, and operational processes
Mentor marketing managers, analysts, and specialists
Client Engagement
Participate in client strategy sessions and marketing planning meetings
Present campaign strategies, performance reports, and optimization plans
Serve as a senior-level marketing advisor for key accounts when needed
Qualifications
Required
7+ years experience in digital marketing
3+ years in a leadership or management role
Proven experience managing marketing budgets and performance metrics
Strong understanding of digital acquisition channels and marketing analytics
Experience managing multi-channel campaigns with measurable ROI
Preferred
Experience working within a marketing agency or consulting environment
Client-facing presentation experience
Advanced knowledge of marketing analytics platforms (GA4, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
Experience scaling marketing teams or operations
