Marketing Director

Salary: $85,000 - 110,000

Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Marketing Director to lead the planning, implementation, and optimization of marketing initiatives across our digital marketing agency. This individual will be responsible for translating high-level growth strategy into operational marketing plans, overseeing budgets, managing campaign execution, and ensuring measurable performance outcomes for both internal initiatives and client accounts.

The Marketing Director will serve as a bridge between executive leadership, internal marketing teams, and client stakeholders, ensuring that marketing strategies are implemented effectively and aligned with business objectives.

This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, financial discipline, team leadership, and client-facing communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company growth objectives

  • Translate executive-level goals into actionable campaign plans and operational marketing programs

  • Identify opportunities for performance improvements, new channels, and scalable growth

Campaign & Performance Management

  • Oversee planning and execution of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns including:

    • Paid media

    • SEO

    • Content marketing

    • Email marketing

    • Conversion optimization

  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize based on data and ROI metrics

  • Implement marketing analytics frameworks and reporting systems

Budget & Financial Oversight

  • Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources across channels for optimal ROI

  • Forecast marketing spend and evaluate cost effectiveness of campaigns

  • Provide monthly reporting on performance, cost metrics, and ROI

Team Leadership

  • Lead and coordinate internal marketing teams and external vendors

  • Establish performance standards, KPIs, and operational processes

  • Mentor marketing managers, analysts, and specialists

Client Engagement

  • Participate in client strategy sessions and marketing planning meetings

  • Present campaign strategies, performance reports, and optimization plans

  • Serve as a senior-level marketing advisor for key accounts when needed

Qualifications

Required

  • 7+ years experience in digital marketing

  • 3+ years in a leadership or management role

  • Proven experience managing marketing budgets and performance metrics

  • Strong understanding of digital acquisition channels and marketing analytics

  • Experience managing multi-channel campaigns with measurable ROI

Preferred

  • Experience working within a marketing agency or consulting environment

  • Client-facing presentation experience

  • Advanced knowledge of marketing analytics platforms (GA4, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)

  • Experience scaling marketing teams or operations
